Firstly a little about myself . I am a mother of 2 my daughter passed away in 2005 due to epilepsy my son who has complex special needs has been in various placements all deemed to help him improve however in his case it was a recipe for abuse & neglect hence my decision to bring him home with a team of staff .
In 2019 i was introduced to Babbacar Jai as a support worker i was very apprehensive after having so many people come & go but this was a delivery of care so different to how others were working in fact to be honest watching his patience i thought he was too good to be true ! Six years later i am still seeing the wonderful care i witnessed on the first day . We call Babbacar Ali he is one of the kindest honest people i have ever met .The essence to Ali building a relationship is to get to know the person he is caring for he does this by including family in all aspects. Ali will go above & beyond for the correct package of care for a person he is not afraid to question proffesionals to get the outcome desired. I have been privelaged to work with Ali for six years & long may it continue in this system now it seems to be all tick boxing but with Ali he gives real meaning to the word Person Centred. I have seen the difference he has made to peoples lives often at the amazement of parents whos loved one had been written off by many services . Ali is a very principled man he knows himself the struggle of parents he is a beacon of light in the care system .
